Selkie Art Card & Gift Tag

The myth and lore behind the selkie is one of my favourites.  We have seals here at the bottom of our garden in Argyll and I love to imagine what they get up to! They are adorable dogs of the sea.  The selkie myth is magical and even although it involves a longing for the sea after the selkie skin has been taken and hidden it is one of my favourites. 
 
This art card has been created using a collage of speciality papers and printed images.  The message of the selkie appears on the gift tag.  You can gift it to another or frame it or even make it a piece of your own artwork. It was a joy to make and refelcts my own art journaling adventures.
